Highs expected to stay below 20 C all week: Environment Canada

Cooler weather this week

Cool temperatures, some rain and plenty of cloud are in the forecast for the Tournament Capital’s first full week of fall.

According to Environment Canada, the mercury isn’t expected to crack the 20-degree mark during the work week, starting with a high of 19 C on Monday with possible showers and the risk of a thunderstorm.

Highs of 18 C are in the forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday, with a chance of showers on Tuesday and sun on Wednesday.

Thursday and Friday are expected to bring highs of 19 C with some showers possible on Thursday.

Overnight lows are forecast to dip into single digits overnight on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

Environment Canada is calling for a high of 20 C and a mix of sun and cloud to start the weekend on Saturday.
