B.C. Culture Days begins Friday and runs through to October 24, 2021.
In Kelowna, the Rotary Centre for the Arts is the hub of activities.
“There are a lot of different types of activities. There are a lot of performances happening, as well as some workshops. There are online discussions, and the RCA is offering a culinary web series. So, it’s a cultural cuisine web series. There will be an episode out every Friday in October,” explains Elana Bizovie, community engagement and events coordinator.
For those who want to enjoy the beautiful fall weather, Bizovie says there are outdoor events.
“We have a Downtown Kelowna scavenger hunt that we have organized, that was sponsored by Downtown Kelowna, where we put art in businesses. People can pick up a copy of the hunt here at the Rotary Centre for the Arts, or they can download the GooseChase app and find it on the app and do it on their own time.”
Or you can take in the Cultural District roving audience experience, where the audience moves around to different performances.
Ballet Kelowna will also be doing four shows of their production Launch Friday, September 24 and Saturday, September 25 in the Mary Irwin Theatre.
