Teen sexually assaulted

Police are asking the public to help identify a man in an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage girl in Port Coquitlam.

The incident occurred between 7 and 7:30 a.m. Sept. 13. A female youth was walking on Wilson Avenue when she was approached by a man and allegedly assaulted.

Victim services is working closely with the girl.

The suspect is described as 35 to 45 years old, with tanned skin, bushy eyebrows, facial stubble facial, and a muscular build. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie with orange on the front, dark sweatpants and running shoes, and wore a large silver ring on his left hand.

Police were told the man got into a dark-coloured pickup.

The driver is also being sought by RCMP and is described as a male in his twenties, with unkempt, dark brown hair and a large build. He was wearing a black jacket.
