RCMP still seeking human traffickers with known ties to B.C., other western provinces

Traffickers still at large

RCMP are renewing a request for information from the public in regards to four men wanted on Canada-wide warrants for human trafficking charges.

Police first advised the public about the four men who are suspected to be involved with a human trafficking group in Western Canada in June 2021.

The men still remain at large:

  • Mali JEAN,
  • Kenny JOUTHE, and
  • Bechir BEN SALAH

They are each charged with trafficking, destroying identity documents, benefitting from trafficking and other charges related to participating in criminal organization.

"These individuals all have ties to the provinces of Saskatchewan, Quebec, Alberta, and British Columbia," reads an update from RCMP issued Thursday.

"There are many different facets of human trafficking, the most commonly known being sexual exploitation or sex trafficking, which is different from the charges laid to date for this specific investigation."

Anyone with information about these individuals are encouraged to contact their nearest police detachment or call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477.
