I was absolutely disgusted to read about Tracy Gray's vote against the conversion therapy ban bill in Parliament.
The fact that she has not responded to LGBTQ2S+ community's letter to apologize for such aberrant behaviour is a slap in the face to all of us who live in Kelowna. Homophobia should not be a flag flying in our fair city in 2021. Is Tracy Gray a person who sides with old right wing fundamentalist ideas and is hoping to turn the clock back to the 1950s? We need an MP who is for all the people in Kelowna and not some Luddite who supports backward cruel and dishonest beliefs that have caused so much pain and suffering to so many people in the far and the recent past. Shape up, Ms. Gray and broaden your moral and social belief system. Right now it is wanting and we will remember this slap in the face at the next election.
