Habitat for Humanity Okanagan 50/50 draw will be held on Friday

Habitat draw goes Friday

The deadline to purchase tickets for Habitat for Humanity Okanagan’s 50/50 draw is almost here.

The public has until Friday at noon to buy tickets online for the draw, which is helping the organization raise money during the COVID-19 pandemic. If all tickets are sold, the winner will be pocketing $13,750.

“The community support through all of these months have really meant a lot to us,” Habitat for Humanity Okanagan CEO Andrea Manifold said in a press release. “We are beginning to come out of pandemic mode and lockdowns after several months. However, we still have to make up some ground on the lost revenues that we would typically generate through our community fundraising efforts.

“Our online 50/50 draw is a hassle-free way to begin getting back on track with all of our community engagement.”

Tickets, which are available to be purchased in B.C. only, are $10 for one, $25 for three or $50 for 10. They can be purchased here.
