Fuel prices in Kamloops jumped by about a dime on Thursday, with most retailers in the city now charging 145.9 cents per litre for regular gasoline. That's up from the 135.9 or 136.9 cents per litre being charged at many local stations earlier in the day.
According to GasBuddy.com, a website that tracks fuel prices, Costco had the cheapest gas in town as of Thursday night, charging 131.9 cents per litre.
The cheapest gas in B.C. as of Thursday night was in Fort St. John, where a pair of Shell stations were charging 120.9 per litre.
In the region, the most affordable fuel to be found is in Enderby, where a Tempo station will sell you a litre of regular for 127.9 cents.
