The annual Regional District of Okanagan Similkameen compost bin sale is back, encouraging residents to turn their food scraps and yard waste into something good for their garden.

Until March 25, purchase a FreeGarden Earth Compost Bin at participating retail locations at wholesale pricing: $49.50 plus tax.

Then, pick up your bin starting on Earth Day, April 22.

For those new to composting, the RDOS has provided free online workshops and videos on how to get started. The RDOS says composting can reduce your garbage by up to 30 per cent.
