Take small steps

Help keep forests (globally and locally) intact

Ask yourself if you really need a newspaper delivered to your house multiple times a week, and in that newspaper are hundreds of pages of junk mail that you likely don’t even read. All that paper comes from pulp that comes from cutting down our forests locally. Likewise, have a look at an ingredient that is in most food products — palm oil — few people know that palm plantations are systematically wiping out tropical rainforests throughout the world. Within our earth’s forests are a host of wildlife species that don’t have any other options for a place to live and thrive. We can do small things that make a difference, wise use of our forests comes with the making wise choices in our daily lives.
