RCMP say wanted man back in custody after arrest in Williams Lake

Wanted man collared

A man unlawfully at large in B.C. was arrested two days after police appealed to the public for help.

David Morin was arrested in Williams Lake Friday. He was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for several weeks.

The 26-year-old breached the conditions of his release after he didn't return to his designated Vancouver home on Jan. 2.

“We are pleased to report that during the early morning hours of Jan. 22, David Morin was located and arrested in Williams Lake by front line officers,” said spokesperson Staff Sgt. Janelle Shoihet in an update Monday.

RCMP issued a public statement on Jan. 20 asking for help in finding the 26-year-old and to call 9-1-1 if seen.
