The City of Kelowna wants to honour neighbourhood snow angels

Kelowna looking for angels

Snow is in the forecast for the next week or so according to Environment Canada and the City of Kelowna is looking to honour neighbourhood snow angels.

If you know someone who braves the cold and heads out on the snowiest days to help shovel sidewalks and driveways, the City of Kelowna wants to hear from you.

"These individuals are doing a kind service to the community and we can help you acknowledge them," according to the City of Kelowna's Snow Angels page.

If you know anyone who fits the description and deserves some recognition, you can fill out the webform and you could receive a special Snow Angels toque and card to share with your neighbour. You can also nominate your Snow Angel by email at [email protected].

Snow Angel nominees are also entered into a monthly draw to win a $100 gift certificate to be used toward local businesses. Draws will be done at the end of each month of the snow season and winners will be contacted by direct mail. Snow Angel nominations are for Kelowna residents only.
