A COVID-19 case has been confirmed at Black Mountain Elementary School

Interior Health is informing the public of another COVID-19 exposure at Black Mountain Elementary School Saturday.

The person is self-isolating at home with support from local public health teams.

"The safety and well-being of students, families, and staff remains our highest priority. Central Okanagan Public Schools will continue to implement the strict health and safety protocols and procedures that are in place so students and staff can continue to attend school as safely as possible," Central Okanagan Public Schools says in a release.

The school board says it will work with Interior Health to determine if any further action is required.

On Jan. 18, a single case was reported at Black Mountain Elementary School.
