Significant photo accidentally sold from Critteraid Charity Thrift Shop, volunteer looking to have it returned

Special item mistakenly sold

The Critteraid Animal Sanctuary in Summerland is trying to get a framed photo accidentally sold from their charity thrift store on Jan. 20, back to its rightful owner.

One of their volunteers accidentally left the photo, which was given as a gift to her.

“When her brother passed away, this was her special spot that her dad would take her to celebrate his (her brother’s) life,” Critteraid Animal director, Jess Byer said.

“She was working and put it next to her purse, it was mistakenly put on the floor and purchased.”

The photo is believed to be sold to somebody in the Kelowna area.

“We'll happily reimburse them, we just want to get the photo back,” Byer said, adding to contact them as soon as possible if you have it.

Anyone with information on the piece is asked to email [email protected]
