Police seized a stun baton and a number of knives after responding to a report of a weapons complaint in Brocklehurst on Thursday morning.

Mounties were called to the 1800-block of Tranquille Road just after 9:30 a.m. for a report of a man activating a Taser.

Kamloops RCMP Const. Crystal Evelyn said investigators found the man and arrested him.

“A stun baton, knives, drug, drug paraphernalia and stolen property were seized as part of the investigation,” she said.

The man was released on a promise to appear in court.
