Construction is underway on a new reservoir that will serve the Greater Vernon Water system.

Concrete work continues at the Baker Hogg Road site, overlooking Swan Lake, in the B.X.

The Regional District of North Okanagan posted a photo of the work on its Facebook page, Tuesday.

"A reservoir with a view!" they wrote.

The reservoir will be primarily fed with Duteau Creek water and will supply the Stepping Stones area.
