Port Hardy residents jump from apartment building in Sunday night fire

Jumped to safety in fire

Several people jumped from an apartment building to escape a fire late Sunday in Port Hardy.

Some were injured as a result, but none critically, said Port Hardy RCMP, which responded just before midnight.

The Port Hardy Fire Department was able to clear the complex and ensure that all residents got out.

The fire remains under investigation.
