The sky was ablaze over the Okanagan Saturday morning.

Several Castanet readers captured photos of the rosy red sunrise, which came just after 7 a.m.

Gail Bastow snapped a particularly beautiful photo from Winfield Flats, where the red sky was complemented by misty morning fog and frozen ground.

Another sunny, but cool day is expected across the Okanagan Valley Saturday, with a high of 2 C forecast in Kelowna, Vernon, Penticton as well as Kamloops.

After the stretch of sunny days, some precipitation is forecast to return to the area on Monday.
