United Way is asking for high fives to celebrate Giving Tuesday

High fives for United Way

Giving Tuesday is the non-profit equivalent of Black Friday, and this year, United Way Thompson Nicola Cariboo (TNC) has a unique approach.

By starting a “high five” chain, the United Way is asking people to donate a minimum of $5 to their community, then pass along a high five to their friends to keep the chain going.

Participants can share their high fives by tagging friends on social media, and adding the link to the donation page found here

Donations of $20 or more will be provided with a tax receipt.

Participants can also tag the United Way TNC and they will share the posts on their platform as well.
