Vernon RCMP seeks public's help to locate four wanted people in North Okanagan

UPDATE: 9:55 a.m.

Vernon RCMP are now seeking the public’s assistance to locate three people with arrest warrants believed to be in the Vernon area.

Earlier this morning, the police issued an appeal to locate Daniel Robert Mearns.

Now, they have added three more names. They are:

Guy Jaques Roy, 32, is wanted for two counts of failing to comply with a probation order.

Roy is described as: six feet three inches tall, 216 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Brock Dumont, 27, is wanted for breach of a release order.

Dumont is described as: five feet eleven inches tall, 159 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.

Ashley Shan Abel, 30, is wanted for theft and two counts of failing to comply with a probation order.

Abel is described as: five feet six inches tall, 161 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

The public is advised to not approach or attempt to apprehend these individuals.

RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a wanted Vernon man.

Daniel Robert Mearns, 42, is wanted by police for assault.

Police have not been able to locate Mearns and are reaching out to the public for assistance in locating him.

Mearns is described as a Caucasian male, five feet seven inches tall, 170 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.
