Coronavirus cases linked to Quigley Elementary, Kelowna Secondary

2 schools exposed to virus

The Central Okanagan School District also confirms a member of the Kelowna Secondary School community has tested positive for COVID-19. 

SD23 did not release possible exposure dates for the school.


ORIGINAL 4:27 p.m.

The Central Okanagan School District confirms another member of the Quigley Elementary school community has tested positive for COVID-19.

“They are self-isolating at home with support from local public health teams. Interior Health has asked the school community to self-monitor for symptoms,” SD 23 said Sunday afternoon.

On Friday, the district confirmed a school community member tested positive for COVID-19 but did not state a possible exposure date. 

Interior Health has once again, not released a possible exposure date for the school on Sunday.

“Central Okanagan Public Schools will continue to implement the strict health and safety protocols and procedures that are in place so students and staff can continue to attend school as safely as possible."
