Looking for a family-fun activity you can do virtually and support a local charity?
Well throughout December, the Kinsmen Club of Kelowna will be hosting online trivia night fundraisers in support of Okanagan charities and non-profits.
“The global pandemic has been difficult on everyone. Among some of the hardest hit are groups that have seen large drops in fundraising revenues from reduced in-person events,” says Kelly Hutchinson, co-host of the club’s weekly trivia show."
“Our club has a fun and safe alternative to in-person fundraising and with the holiday season ahead of us, we want to share it with those groups doing good work in our community.”
The events takes one-hour and are played over Zoom by yourself or in teams with friends and family. A host will present 30 questions and answers are submitted through an online form, earning players ballots for prizes awarded the same evening.
