What a shock another upgrade for downtown Kelowna with the Ethel Street Active Transportation Corridor project. I wonder when some of us “untouchables” in Rutland will get new sidewalks, or for that matter sidewalks at all. The government is happy to spend tax dollars on wet and dry facilities in Rutland to enable drug use, and keep the “riff raff” away from downtown as much as possible, however, when it comes to improving our part of the city funds appear to be hard to come by.
We pay tax dollars just like everyone else, where is our share of the pie? It is too bad Rutland cannot separate from Kelowna and actually be represented, as it is clearly obvious, we are not represented now.
