Police are looking to witnesses after an assault took place on July 15 in near Magna Bay.

Around 7 p.m., Chase RCMP were called to an incident after reports of a man punching a woman in the head. It occurred on Squilax-Anglemount Road.

"The couple was associated to a red truck, towing a camper and appeared to be travelling with a dog that jumped out and ran off during the incident," Chase RCMP in a press release.

Police are still investigating the incident and asking for witnesses to come forward. You can call the detachment at 250-679-3221.
