Cape Group completes Creston House, one of many new developments on TRU Campus

The first market residential building is now complete at The Reach on the Thompson Rivers University Campus in Kamloops.

Creston House is complete with 50 of the 60 total homes already been sold to a variety of couples, Thompson Rivers University (TRU) staff and various others. Occupancy started this month.

The Reach is a 25-year plan to create a sustainable, pedestrian-friendly community of 3,500 multi-family housing units, retail and office spaces, on the TRU campus.

Family-run Cape Group was responsible for both the development and the construction of the project and have started to welcome residents in the building this month.

"Cape Group has a history of building in smaller communities. We are BC developers and believe in the benefits of these communities.  We were approached by the REACH at TRU and were told we were the kind of developer they really wanted and needed to make the growth at TRU come to fruition and we wanted to be a part of their vision," Cape Group President Reisa Schwartzman said.
