Road closures and new hours for mid-week market amid pandemic
The 400 block of Victoria Street will close for the mid-week Kamloops Farmers Market from Aug. 5 to Sept. 30.
The city has approved the request of the closure between Fourth and Fifth avenues amid the COVID-19 pandemic, to maintain better physical distancing protocols and add more space between vendor booths.
Drivers are advised that every Wednesday (until Sept. 30) from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. there will be road closures.
Use caution when driving in this area and obey all traffic control signals.
The hours of the mid-week market will also change to ease the road closure.
New market hours will be from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
