It's that time of year again for whiskey lovers!
Okanagan Spirits Craft Distillery's annual Laird of Fintry Lottery is returning after it claimed gold during the 2020 World Spirits Awards.
The small-batch Laird comes from locally grown malted barley which is then aged in white oak casks before it makes its way to Quails Gate's foch French oak barrels. The Laird of Fintry is then only available through the annual draw.
This is Lot 7 of the Laird of Fintry, which claimed gold for the record-breaking third time at the World Spirits Awards in Europe, after previously winning in 2015 and 2017.
The lottery is open now until September 25 and the the first round of winners will be notified on September 28. Those who win can purchase the whisky for $75.
A 2018 bottle of the Laird of Fintry was auctioned off at a local charity in 2019 for $4,500.
Those who participated in the 2019 lottery or members of the Whisky Club or Spirit News Newsletter will automatically be added to this year's lottery.
