Care home residents recreate iconic album covers

Seniors recreate covers

Residents and nurses at a London care home decided to make the most of nearly four months in COVID-19 lockdown by recreating iconic album covers.

Some of the albums featured include Taylor Swift's "1989," Adele's "23" and Michael Jackson's "Bad."

The photos show residents of Sydmar Lodge Care Home in Edgware posing in the same style as the artist on the album cover, even wearing a similar outfit, hairdo and makeup.

Bruce Springsteen's "Born in the USA" album features resident Martin Steinberg with the title "Born in England."

Resident Sheila Solomons also joined in the fun and can be seen throwing a microphone in the "Sydmar Calling" recreation of The Clash's famous album "London Calling."

Activities co-ordinator Robert Speker shared the photos in a tweet which is now going viral.
