Kelowna Comedy is back, raising for Okanagan Boys and Girls Club

Comedy for a cause is back

Kelowna Comedy is adjusting to the new COVID-19 restrictions as they return to their regular schedule of shows, as early as this Saturday.

On July 11 at 7 p.m., Kelowna Comedy will take the stage at Dakoda's Comedy Lounge to raise money for Okanagan Boys & Girls Clubs.

They have partnered with Amanda Zais, a personal tax specialist, to donate 100 per cent of ticket sales to the cause.

"Over the years, we have raised over 100,000 dollars for different causes," Dave Kopp founder of Kelowna Comedy.

The show features nine of the Okanagan's top comedians, including Stuart Jones who has recently released a comedy album on 604 Records and has performed on Just for Laughs Northwest.

Tickets are available on Eventbrite or can be purchased by calling Dakoda's.
