Senior missing after paddling

Vernon RCMP are looking for a local senior who went missing on June 30.

73-year-old Wayne Orser was last seen at his house in North Westside, and it is believed he went paddle boarding on Okanagan Lake that afternoon. His paddle board was found in the reeds at the north end of the lake, and he has not been seen since.

"Vernon Search and Rescue was deployed to the area and searched the shoreline with negative results," says Cpl. Tania Finn.

Wayne Orser is described as a 73-year-old white man with grey hair and brown eyes, standing at 5'8" and weighing 130 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt and grey sweatpants.
