Adele took a $1.2 million loss on the sale of the Sussex home she shared with ex Simon Konecki as she moved on following the couple's divorce.

The Hello hitmaker's country estate was snapped up for $3.7 million by a financier last year, according to papers obtained by Britain's The Sun newspaper, leaving the star out of pocket after reportedly buying it for approximately $5 million in 2017.

The 18th-century, eight-bedroom home has a tennis court and is set in 48 acres of its own land. Despite letting go of the home, the singer apparently held on to several other properties in the U.K., including a house and flat in west London. She now spends most of her time in Los Angeles.

Adele and Simon married secretly in 2016 after five years together, but only confirmed the union a year later.They announced a separation in 2019 and the divorce was being processed in September. Details of the separation have been kept private.

The former couple shares seven-year-old son, Angelo.
