Once again, there have been no additional confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the Interior Health region since Saturday.
On Tuesday, Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry said 25 new people have tested positive for the virus province-wide, for a total of 1,291 cases in the province. Of those cases, 128 are in the Interior Health region.
Dr. Henry also announced four more deaths from COVID-19 in the province, bringing the total in the province to 43.
As of Tuesday, 805 people in the province have fully recovered from the virus, leaving 443 active cases in B.C. Of these, 138 people are currently being treated in hospital, 66 of whom are in critical care. Thirteen of the province's hospitalizations are in the Interior Health region.
There are still 21 long-term senior care homes in the province where at least one person has been diagnosed with COVID-19, and 231 of the province's cases are related to these homes.
