Birds are singing and the trees are beginning to bloom

Spring is in the air

If you're looking for things to do while self-isolating but still want to get outside, you might consider bird watching.

Even though the Okanagan got a dusting of snow to end the week, signs of spring are everywhere.

Trees are beginning to blossom and birds are returning from their southern forays, many are building nests.

These are the little signs that signal the arrival of a new season.

Photographer Herb Tanaka snapped a series of shots that show the variety of birds in the Okanagan, "I'm not a photographer. I just take pictures. My wife and I enjoy getting out in nature and looking for opportunities. I like to share a few of my captures!"

We appreciate the photos and hope you do as well. If you have photos you'd like to share please send them to [email protected].
