The Hurricanes even added a tweet for the currently unnamed Seattle expansion team with a screengrab of Dwight Schrute holding a squid, which may be a hint toward the fronrunner for Seattle's potential name: the Seattle Kraken. The 'Canes made some clever references, including Goldenface and Dwight's famous coyote shirt – although they did miss an opportunity with the Minnesota Wild by not referencing Michael Scott's 'Survivorman' episode in the forest.
Either way, fans seemed to enjoy the hockey content that tries to fill the void of a sportsless world.
