Sunshine, warmer temperatures and melting snow can mean just one thing.
Spring, and golf season in the Central Okanagan isn't too far off.
While others across the country battle snow and cold, Two Eagles Golf Course and Academy is getting ready to open up for the season.
The West Kelowna course is slated to open Sunday, March 1.
However, golfers will be restricted to walking only during the early portion of the season.
Typically, South Okanagan courses open a few days earlier than those further north.
The Penticton Golf and Country Club opened for the season Thursday, while the Osoyoos Golf Club opened its gold course Friday.
More courses will open as weather conditions allow.
