Selena Gomez is searching for Rare beauties among her fan base by holding open casting calls for her makeup brand's new advertising campaign.

The Come and Get It hitmaker announced the forthcoming launch of Rare Beauty in early February, and on Thursday she took to social media to reveal she was giving members of the public the chance to model for the firm.

"Our first #WeAreRare community call is open and we're excited to build this community together!" the singer/actress wrote.

"It's all about celebrating what makes you, you; and we would love your voice to be a part of the story."

Interested participants, who have to be based in the U.S. and be at least 18 years old, have been invited to apply online by submitting a story explaining what makes them rare for the opportunity to be considered.

In a press release, a brand spokesperson shared, "Rare Beauty aims to find beauty in what society considers 'imperfect' and build a community that shapes conversations around beauty, self-acceptance, and mental health."

The first batch of winners will be unveiled on March 9.

Rare Beauty is set to officially debut this summer.
