Luke Bryan launches beer

Country star Luke Bryan is cashing in on his love of a boozy beverage by launching his own brand of beer.

The Drink a Beer hitmaker has teamed up with tastemakers at alcohol firm Constellation Brands to unveil Two Lane American Golden Lager, an "easy-to-enjoy, sessionable beer" made with top quality, U.S.-grown ingredients, including water from the Blue Ridge Mountains, part of the Appalachian Mountains range.

"Between my songs, Instagram posts and onstage toasts to my audience, it's no secret that I like beer," the singer shares in a statement.

"For a long time, I've dreamed of creating a beer to enjoy no matter if you are hanging out at one of my shows or at home with friends and family, and I was so grateful to find a partner in Constellation to make that dream a reality."

In a new video promo for the beer, posted on Bryan's social media pages, he explains, "It's called Two Lane because it's perfect for the kind of places you'll find at the end of a two-lane (country) road - fishing holes, camp sites, dive bars - places where you and your friends can really feel at home."

He captioned the ad, "Excited to announce my latest collaboration. @TwoLaneBrewing #twolanelager".

Two Lane American Golden Lager is set to launch on March 2 in seven states across America's southeast, including Tennessee, North Carolina, Virginia, and his native Georgia.

Bryan is the latest star to enter the booze business - rockers Iron Maiden, the Grateful Dead, and Metallica also boast their own brews, while fellow country musicians Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, and Florida Georgia Line have their own liquor lines.
