Mega finale for Kiss

Kiss' longtime manager, Doc McGhee, is dreaming up a final concert that will feature every member of the band, past and present.

McGhee, who has managed the band since 1995, wants the New York City swansong show in July, 2021 to be one for the ages, with founders Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley hitting the stage with anyone who has ever suited up for Kiss.

"It's going to be great, it's going to be worthy of the end of the road," he tells Pollstar. "We want to celebrate everybody and we might bring out all the former members. We'd like to. Nobody says, 'We hate this guy, we hate that guy'. We want everybody who wants to come out."

Late last year, McGhee revealed every living former member of Kiss had been approached about taking part in the group's last-ever gig and during a recent interview on the ninth annual Kiss Kruise he told fans, "We want to include everybody that played with Kiss to celebrate the 45 years of Kiss.

The band's current line-up consists of Simmons and Stanley, alongside Tommy Thayer and drummer Eric Singer, but fans are hoping the final show will also include original drummer Peter Criss and guitarist Ace Frehley, among others.
