Lewis Capaldi is rolling the dice on a James Bond theme song, making it clear he wants to record the next one.

Just days after Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas released their new Bond theme, No Time to Die, the Someone You Loved hitmaker has nominated himself for the next 007 anthem.

"I think her (Billie) and her brother Finneas have done an excellent job," Capaldi told Metro UK, adding that he would like to release his own tune for the franchise if he's not "completely irrelevant" by then.

He adds, "I'm not sure how good I'd be at the whole kind of brooding, mysterious... considering what I'm like as a person, but obviously it'd be incredible (to record) maybe the next one... It might happen."
