Kelowna's median rent mark doesn't move a cent in February

Status quo for Kelowna rent

Victoria’s rent got a lot more expensive this month, but Kelowna’s remained right where it is.

The median price for a one-bedroom apartment in Kelowna remained steady in February at $1,350, according to PadMapper’s latest numbers. The two-bedroom price also didn’t change, staying at $1,630.

The one-bedroom cost was up only 0.7% over last year at this time and the two-bedroom was just 1.9% more than February 2019.

Kelowna remains the eighth most expensive Canadian city in which to rent an apartment.

Victoria jumped from sixth to fourth on the most expensive list. Its median price for a one-bedroom pad went up 5.3% and the two-bedroom increased 4.9%.
