Abstracted Ideas Exhibit opening at the OSA this week

Abstract ideas on display

The Okanagan School of the Arts (OSA) opens its first exhibit of the year this week.

The theme for this exhibit is "Abstracted Ideas", which showcases work that do not attempt to accurately depict visual reality but instead uses shapes, colours, and forms to achieve the effect.

"We've had an outstanding response to this call," says Kim Palmer, executive director for the Okanagan School of the Arts in a release.

"The work we've received is incredibly colourful and vibrant - I'm confident that visitors will be delighted by this beautiful and memorable exhibit," adds Palmer.

Light refreshments will be served at the opening, Wednesday 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and everyone is welcome.
