It is extremely disheartening to read that a local bus driver was caught drunk driving in Kelowna.
My daughter and I use the bus system on a daily basis and have met some very wonderful drivers.
It saddens me that this has happened, and I am thankful for the passenger who phoned 911. To you, I say thank you for keeping our roads safe. I hope that Kelowna Transit has given the driver an option of going to rehab if needed. I nearly lost my brother and five of his friends to a drunk driver, so please offer a hand to the driver if need be. Let's take care of each other.
