A transport truck dumped a load of sheet metal across Highway 97 on Jan. 7, damaging the centre island in the process.
Motorists are being advised of a planned lane closure Thursday on Highway 97, just north of Penticton.
Maintenance and traffic control crews will be on site, just north of the Channel Bridge, to complete repairs to a centre island. The island was damaged earlier this month when a transport truck carrying sheet metal dumped a load across the roadway.
DriveBC says the northbound fast lane will be closed between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Thursday. The closure will also impact the northbound merge lane from West Bench Hill Drive, with motorists asked to use Sage Mesa Drive instead.
