The family and friends of Jay Rosenberger have issued a plea on Facebook, concerned about Jay's whereabouts.

Rosenberger, aged 38, was last seen on Friday, Jan. 24 at 11:00 p.m. at the Riviera Village Green Hotel complex, where he works as the manager.

He was supposed to return to work that night, and also had plans to spend time with friends on Saturday but never showed.

His sister Holly Frances wrote in a Facebook post that Rosenberger's phone is dead, and his charger was found in his home.

His car is also missing, and because it was recently purchased, family members don't know the license plate number. His car is a silver sedan, seemingly an early 2000's Mazda.

"I can’t believe I’m writing this post, it feels like we are in a nightmare we can’t wake up from," wrote Frances.

"This is completely out of character for him."

Some of Rosenberger's family are arriving from Edmonton to continue the search.

Facebook group has been started up to share information, and assist family and friends in the search for Rosenberger. People are also invited to contact Frances with information.

Information can also be shared with Vernon RCMP at (250) 545-7171, or to report information anonymously contact Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or visit www.crimestoppers.net
