Burnaby firefighters had their hands full early Saturday morning to save two occupants of a luxury vehicle.

At around 2 a.m., Burnaby crews were called to Willingdon Avenue, just south of Canada Way for a collision.

When they arrived, they found a Ferrari that had crashed into the side of a semi-trailer belonging to a film production.

Both occupants in the Ferrari were trapped in the wreckage. Firefighters had to use tools to extricate the victims in the crash.

Both patients were transported to hospital by paramedics. Their medical condition is unknown at this time.
