A female pedestrian was hit at the intersection of Leon Ave. and Ellis St. on Friday night.

A female pedestrian was hit just before 6 p.m. on Friday night while crossing the intersection of Ellis St and Leon Ave.

The pedestrian had the right of way to cross the road when the driver, who says she was distracted by loud noises coming from the pub, made the left turn. 

Witnesses say the pedestrian went "flying onto the hood".

The pedestrian was assessed by paramedics on scene and left shortly after the incident with no injuries.
