RCMP are seeking pre-crash witnesses of a fatal collision last week on Highway 97 north of Summerland, as a petition calling for safety improvements in the area eclipses 15,000 signatures.
The crash has spurred 15,000 people to sign an online petition calling on the provincial government to install concrete median barriers on Highway 97 between Summerland and Peachland.
