Jennifer Aniston fought back tears during an appearance on Ellen DeGeneres' upcoming TV special as she saluted a struggling dad and his daughter.
In a new clip from Ellen's Greatest Night of Giveaways, which will air in America next week, the host and her actress pal met up with Jeff Kimball, who is mourning the loss of his wife.
Joined by his daughter, Elyse, on the show, Kimball revealed his late wife took strength from DeGeneres' Finding Nemo character, Dory, during her battle with sarcoma cancer and during a heartbreaking exchange, Aniston was moved to tears when he said, "She was going in for a 13-hour surgery and the last thing I did was blow her a kiss and say, 'Just keep swimming,'" he said.
The former Friends star then asked, "Oh my God... What would your mom say right now if she knew you guys were here?" prompting Jeff to say, "She would be so happy. Ellen, she was your biggest fan, so she'd be like, 'Move over because I'm getting closer!'"
Aniston and DeGeneres had a surprise in store for Jeff, who recently lost his job, and his daughter, decorating the family home from top to bottom for Christmas.
