In game one Friday night, the Vipers trounced the Merritt Centennials 8-3. Matt Kowalski netted a hat trick and added two assists en route to being named the first star of the game. JoJo Tanaka-Campbell had a goal and two assists, and five Vipers had two points in the win.

The Vipers came out on top in Saturday's game against the Wentachee Wild with a 6-4 win, despite being out-shot 38-22. Dawson Holt and Cameron MacDonald each had two goals and an assist, and Connor Marritt added three assists. James Porter Jr. put up 34 saves for his first win of the season.

The big weekend for the Vipers moves them into fourth place in the Interior Division, tied at 36 points with the Wild but with two games at hand. The Vipers are back in action at 2 p.m. this afternoon when they take on the Merritt Centennials again, this time on the road.
