Hailey Bieber hates the way that social media "puts women up against each other" and creates "toxic narratives."

The 23-year-old model is no stranger to finding herself at the center of headlines, with fans recently pitting her against her husband Justin Bieber's ex Selena Gomez after she allegedly made comments about the latter's new song. Hailey later slammed the claims as "complete BS (bulls**t)".

But addressing the nature of sites such as Twitter and Instagram in an interview with British Vogue, Hailey insisted things need to change.

"I think social media is a breeding ground for toxicity and people creating false drama between women and trying to put women up against each other and create these narratives that are just... toxic," she said. "I think that has to change and that has to stop.

"I think there needs to be more people with platforms coming together and saying to each other, 'let's kill the conversation, let's kill the fake drama, let's squash all these things, let's move on from stuff. Let's not give people a reason to fuel fire and create drama and being rude to each other."

Elsewhere in the interview, Hailey discussed her wedding day with Sorry singer Justin, labeling it the "highlight of my year".

The pair have yet to head off on an official honeymoon, but Hailey said their frequent traveling means they're almost enjoying a constant post-wedding celebration.

"I think we travel enough where it's kind of a honeymoon all of the time," she smiled. "Just being with each other, just getting to spend time alone can feel like that. We love to do little trips, we love to go away for the night or the weekend. I love to travel."
