The BC Lions have named Rick Campbell as their new head coach.
The Lions announced the news on their Twitter account shortly before Campbell was introduced to members of the media as the team’s new bench boss.
The Leos had been on the hunt for a new head coach after DeVone Claybrooks was fired in early November.
Campbell left the Ottawa Redblacks on Nov 4. year of existence.

The BC Lions have announced they are holding a press conference at 12 p.m. at the Lions practice facility for a major club announcement.
Sources from around the league believe Rick Campbell will be introduced as the team's new coach.
Campbell is a Canadian football head coach who previously worked for the Ottawa Redblacks. He was the Calgary Stampeders' defensive coordinator from 2012 to 2013 and was also an assistant coach with the Edmonton Eskimos and Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
